Inner Ligare

Inner Ligare is a Class 5 pupil from Bridge, Mitume—she joined in 2015. This year she had the opportunity to be part of the music club at her school; she participated in the Kenyan National Music festival and emerged number 1 in her category!

“I started dancing when I was still 11-years-old,” she says. “My teacher identified this talent in me together with my fellow pupils and they trained us until we became the best!” 

Inner took it upon herself to practice outside of her academic schedule, to become even better. “I’m grateful to my teachers for their support. I never dreamed we would become the Kenyan Champions at the National Music Festivals… but we did,” she smiles.
