From the moment our first school opened in Mukuru Kwa Njenga in 2009, we’ve known we can’t afford to wait to educate children. Today, Bridge runs community schools in 25 of Kenya’s 47 counties, reaching children whose dreams would otherwise be delayed or lost. In many communities, poverty, distance, or lack of resources make it almost impossible for a child to attend school. Each year we delay is a year of potential lost, and a child more likely to never recover that lost chance.
